Congress Location

FEMS EUROMAT 2023 will be held at the historic yet modern Westend Campus of Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. This prestigious venue, often referred to as "Germany's most beautiful campus," offers a serene and visually striking setting with its blend of architectural splendor, green spaces, and state-of-the-art facilities. It is an ideal location for FEMS EUROMAT 2023, providing a conducive atmosphere for intellectual discourse and networking.

Registration & Congress Office

At the FEMS EUROMAT 2023 congress, your first destination should be the registration area and Congress Office, which you will find on the ground floor of the main lecture hall building, the Hörsaalzentrum, at the congress venue. You can begin to pick up your badges from Sunday between 5 pm and 8 pm. Following this, the registration and congress office will maintain extended hours from Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, to accommodate varying participant schedules. Badges can be printed conveniently using the self check-in code; expect to receive this via email about a week before the congress. Keep in mind, this self check-in code is unique to you and essential for obtaining your badge, so keep it secure and easily accessible for a smooth start to your congress experience.

Hybrid Congress

Embracing the flexibility of modern conferencing, FEMS EUROMAT 2023 is excited to host a hybrid congress, ensuring broad accessibility and participation. Regardless of whether you attend in person or virtually, rest assured that all lectures and posters will be available to you both on-site and online via our user-friendly congress platform. What's more, this content will remain accessible for a full 14 days following the event, giving you ample time to delve into the wealth of knowledge shared during the congress. To facilitate networking and participant interaction, we encourage all attendees, even those participating on-site, to utilize the platform to upload an image of themselves. This visual identifier allows other participants to recognize you, enhancing engagement and promoting meaningful connections throughout the congress. Furthermore, you can create your own personal schedule using the platform making it easier for you to navigate the event.
Access to the congress platform will be available for all participants from 30 August 2023.

Travel Information & Complimentary Public Transportation Ticket

Frankfurt am Main is one of Europe's most important traffic and transport hubs. Moving around the city is easy using public transportation. Your congress ticket includes a complimentary public transportation ticket. Social Events

Our Social Events provide excellent networking opportunities, making new acquaintances, meeting old friends, and getting to know local specialties. They can be booked separately and offer formal and informal activities. We charge a No-Show-Fee for some of these events to ensure fair booking. Find more information and book your participation!

Lunch Vouchers

Each on-site participant will be provided with lunch vouchers, a crucial part of your catering convenience during the event. The vouchers can be conveniently printed at a self-service station, located in the registration area using your name badge. Please bear in mind that these vouchers can only be printed once; the system will not issue any replacements in the event of loss or misplacement. Vouchers can be utilized at the Casino, conveniently situated just across from the main lecture hall building. We have arranged a special voucher for poster authors: On the day of their dedicated poster session, they can enjoy their lunch at a dedicated catering station in the poster gallery. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.

On-Site Authors

Poster presentations are split into different poster sessions, grouped by areas. Please upload your poster online before the congress to the congress platform for the online participants and bring the printed version with you. Your self-printed poster has to be put up in the morning of your poster session day by 10 am and be put down between 5 pm and 7 pm at the poster gallery, where your dedicated place is marked with a sign containing your poster number. Posters cannot be printed by us.
